How to rewrite and fix your text on iPhone with AI
The usual way to "AI" a message on your phone is painful: copy the text, switch to ChatGPT, paste it, type a prompt, copy the result, switch back, paste again. For a two‑line message, that's a dozen taps.
There's a better way: an AI keyboard that puts rewriting right into the keyboard you already type on.
The one‑tap way
With an AI keyboard like Rewordo, you type your message as usual and then tap an action on the bar above the keys:
- Rephrase — turn a rough draft into a clean, natural message.
- Fix — correct grammar and spelling without changing your meaning.
- Expand / Concise — make it longer and clearer, or shorter and punchier.
- Translate — send the whole message in another language.
The text is replaced in place, and you can step back and forth between versions if you want to compare.
Set the tone
Not every message should sound the same. Pick a tone — formal for a work email, friendly for a text — and every rewrite follows it. You can also add custom commands with your own instructions for the things you write most.
It stays private
A rewrite only happens when you tap an action — the keyboard never logs what you type. Your text isn't stored, there's no account, and if you use your own AI key it's encrypted on your device and never kept on a server.

Rewordo brings all of this into one keyboard for iPhone. It's coming soon — join the waitlist, or see the features and pricing.
