Terms of Use — Rewordo

These Terms govern your use of the Rewordo app and keyboard ("the App"), provided by Martin Nohejl, a sole trader (IČO 74765086, VAT CZ8902233967), Benátecká Vrutice 155, 289 23 Milovice, Czech Republic ("we", "us"). By installing or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The service

Rewordo is an iOS keyboard and app that uses AI to rewrite, correct, expand, shorten, translate and chat about text you provide. AI results are produced by a third-party AI provider (currently Anthropic).

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own lawful use, subject to these Terms and the Apple App Store Terms.

3. Your responsibilities and acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the App unlawfully, or to create harmful, infringing, hateful, or deceptive content;
  • attempt to abuse, overload, reverse-engineer, or circumvent limits, security, or attestation of the App or our backend;
  • resell or redistribute the App or the AI output as a competing service. You are responsible for the text you submit and for how you use the results.

4. API keys and usage limits

  • Bring Your Own Key (BYOK): if you use your own AI provider key, you are responsible for your provider account, its costs, and its terms. Your key is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
  • Managed usage: if you use our managed key, usage is subject to fair-use / monthly limits and may be rate-limited or suspended to prevent abuse. The App is currently free to use within those limits; if paid tiers are introduced, they will be offered in the app via Apple's In-App Purchase and described there.

5. AI output — no warranty of accuracy

AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. You must review results before relying on or sending them. The App is a writing aid, not professional (legal, medical, financial, etc.) advice. You are solely responsible for the content you send.

6. Third-party services

Your use of AI features is also subject to the AI provider's terms (e.g. Anthropic) and, for distribution, to Apple's terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.

7. Intellectual property

The App, its design, and our software are owned by us or our licensors. Subject to the AI provider's terms, output you generate is yours to use, and we claim no ownership of your input.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind (express or implied), including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50 (or its CZK equivalent). Mandatory statutory consumer rights are not affected.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or abuse the service.

11. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms; the "Last updated" date will change and continued use after changes means acceptance.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, excluding its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of the Czech Republic, unless mandatory local consumer law provides otherwise.
